CPS has been instrumental in obtaining major cooperation from the
Department of Buildings for the telecommunications industry.
Among our accomplishments to date:
1. Regular meetings with Borough Commissioners have resulted
in expedited approvals by having one individual plan examiner
assigned to telecommunication projects in most boroughs of New York
City.
2. Citywide acceptance of small-scale plans for simple
modifications resulting in cost savings for clientele.
3. Citywide acceptance of prefabricated telecommunications structures as
accessory use to existing buildings.
4. Establish as-of-right acceptance of unlimited telecommunications installations in office-designated portions of buildings.
